Overview
Guide My Startup offers advisory support to early-stage founders navigating the hardest parts of building a company. Their audience is smart, busy, and highly selective — if the page doesn't explain the offer immediately, they're gone.
We treated the landing page as a conversation rather than a brochure. The page walks a visitor through a logical sequence: here's the problem you're facing, here's how we solve it, here's proof that we can, here's what others ask before they reach out, and here's how to start.
Everything that didn't serve that sequence was removed. No navigation. No secondary links. No 'learn more' buttons that go nowhere useful. Just a clear offer, credible proof, and one way to respond. That focus is what makes a landing page convert — and it's what this one was built around.
The Challenge
Landing pages fail for one reason above all others: unclear messaging. Guide My Startup had a genuinely valuable offer — advisory support for early-stage founders — but the existing page tried to say too many things at once. The headline didn't connect to the problem. The offer wasn't obvious. And the call to action was competing with half a dozen other links. Visitors were landing and leaving without understanding what was on offer or why they should care. The fix wasn't design — it was clarity.
Our Approach
- Started with the messaging: rewrote the headline and sub-headline to lead with the founder's problem, not the company's credentials
- Structured the page as a simple narrative: problem → solution → proof → FAQ → action
- Reduced the page to a single primary CTA — one button, one outcome — removing all competing links
- Added a concise FAQ section to address the most common objections without the visitor needing to email
- Built the layout mobile-first with fast-loading images and minimal JavaScript for speed
